About Dungeness Virtual School
Dungeness Virtual School is a free, online education school located in the Sequim School District. Dungeness Virtual School utilizes Sequim teachers who are Washington State certified teachers. Dungeness provides a variety of core and elective classes in a non-traditional manner through an online learning program. Online curriculum is provided by Imagine Learning (Edgenuity), a company that has a long history of developing online curriculum. All curriculum is designed to meet the Washington State standards as defined by OSPI.

Student-Teacher Contact Requirements
Teachers at Dungeness Virtual School partner with students and families to ensure students learn at their own pace while meeting their learning goals. Teachers will support students in learning through guidance, assessment, and evaluation of the learning standards. Students are required to participate is state assessment and are required to meet all Washington State requirements prior to graduating and receiving a high school diploma.
Students can interact with their teacher in a variety of ways so that each student‘s learning style is incorporated, which can look differently for each student.
